Features and Benefits

The system enhances efficiency by ensuring functionality follows user workflows. By consolidating all offender information into one cohesive system, Case Management eliminates duplication of data collection and entry, ensures that everybody has the most current information, and enables useful information to be widely and easily distributed. The system incorporates a remarkable mechanism to ensure all changes are logged so that end-users are able to see the precise history of each record.

The information collected is stored in a format conducive to generating reports, reducing the effort required for daily operations. For example, the effort needed to create a Pre-sentence Investigation (PSI) is significantly shortened, since the information collected during the Pretrial Interview (PTI) process is already stored in the system. A PSI writer need only verify the currency of information stored in the system and add PSI-specific information.

The system incorporates dozens of reports specifically targeting operations review, evaluating program effectiveness, and testing recidivism hypotheses. Additionally the system exposes its data to the user in a secure, simplified fashion for analysis with any standard statistic program. The system is designed to facilitate exchange of data by courts, attorneys, Department of Public Safety, Department of Transportation, Department of Human Services, etc.

Case Management supports operational processes and collects information pertaining to:

Offender Demographics - includes identity, photographs, residential and employment information, familial and other relationships, gang affiliations, body markings, military service, financials, etc.
